Privacy policy
Last updated November 2, 2026.
Jola makes Jola, an operating system for small businesses. A company connects the systems it already uses, and Jola builds working apps, called seeds, on top of that data. This policy says what we collect, what we do with it, who else touches it, and how to remove it.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, role, and the company you belong to.
- What you put in Jola: records, files, brand materials, instructions and questions.
- Data from systems you connect: only from the systems an owner or admin connects, and only the kinds of records they choose on the connect screen. That can include email, calendars, files, contacts, deals, invoices, social posts and comments, leads and ad results.
- Sign-ins to those systems: access tokens, encrypted before they are stored.
- How Jola runs: logs of syncs, automations and errors, and how much AI each company uses.
Our marketing website uses analytics cookies to count visits. The Jola app itself does not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To show your company its own data in the seeds and on Home.
- To answer questions and build seeds you ask for, using an AI model (see below).
- To make changes you or your automations ask for, such as sending an email or publishing a post. Jola shows what will happen and runs it once, and each change is logged.
- To keep Jola working and secure, and to help when you ask for support.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
AI models
Numphy and the seed builder use Claude models from Anthropic. When you ask Numphy a question or ask Jola to build or change a seed, the part of your data that request needs is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the answer, and Anthropic's commercial terms set how long it keeps those requests. Anthropic does not use them to train its models. If you choose to connect your email, the emails a question needs go to Claude to answer that question, for you, and for nothing else. AI answers can be wrong, so check what matters before relying on them. People at Jola do not read your connected data, unless you ask us to for support, you give your permission, or the law or a security investigation requires it.
Google user data
Jola's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google data only to provide and improve the features you can see in Jola. We do not transfer it to others except as needed for those features, for security, to follow the law, or in a merger with your notice. We do not use it for advertising and we do not use it to train generalized AI models.
Jola uses YouTube API Services. If you connect YouTube, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies. Jola reads your channel's videos, comments and daily numbers, shows them to the people you allow, and refreshes or deletes videos and comments within 30 days. You can remove Jola's access at any time on your Google security settings page, or by deleting the connector in Jola.
Social media, advertising and CRM accounts
If you connect Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest, HubSpot, Salesforce or another account, Jola reads the records you choose, shows them to the people you allow, and posts or changes things only when you or an automation you set up asks. Jola posts as your Page or organization, not as your personal profile, unless the platform only allows personal posting and you chose that. Each platform's own terms and privacy policy also apply to what you do there.
Who else handles your data
| Company | What for |
|---|---|
| Google Cloud | Hosting, database, encryption keys and file storage, in the United States |
| Anthropic | The Claude AI models behind Numphy and the seed builder. Anthropic receives what a question or build needs, to answer it, and does not train on it |
| Resend | Sends sign-in codes and notices from Jola by email |
| Stripe | Takes payment when a company buys Claude credits |
Inside your company, what each person sees is set by your owners and admins through roles and furrows. We share data outside this list only if the law requires it, or with your notice in a merger or sale of the business.
How long we keep it
Connected data stays while the connection is on, and is refreshed by sync. When you delete a connector, Jola revokes the sign-in where the vendor allows it and deletes the synced rows and documents at once. Some platforms limit how long their data can be kept, and Jola follows those limits. Backups age out within 30 days. We keep account records and audit logs for as long as your company uses Jola and as the law requires, and then delete them.
Deleting your data
See how to delete your data. It covers deleting one connector, removing access from the platform's side, and asking us to delete everything.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to some uses. If your company runs your Jola account, ask its owner first; they control that data. You can also write to us, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Children
Jola is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
We change the date at the top when this policy changes, and tell owners and admins before a change that matters.
