Connect X to Jola
Your account's own posts and how they did, plus post to X (X bills per post).
Connect
Owners and admins: in Jola, open Connectors, pick X, and follow one of these.
Sign in with X
- Sign in to X with the account you post from.
- Allow Jola to read your posts and post for you.
- Come back to Jola. Each post you make from Jola is billed by X.
- X bills per use: $0.015 for a post, or $0.20 if the post holds a link. Reading your own posts costs $0.001 a post.
- A sync reads at most 100 posts, so a first sync costs at most about $0.10.
- Jola only reads your own posts. It doesn't search for mentions.
- X doesn't allow automated replies, so Jola never replies for you.
What Jola brings in
You pick which of these on the connect screen.
- Posts: The account's newest 100 posts with impressions, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and bookmarks, read again each day so they stay current. Each post read costs $0.001 on X's pay-per-use plan.
What Jola can change
Only when someone asks, or through an automation an owner or admin turned on. Each change is logged.
- Post to X: Posts on X as the account. X bills $0.015 for a post, or $0.20 if the post holds a link.
What it can't do
- Posts by other accounts
- Searching for mentions or keywords
- Replies (X doesn't allow automated replies)
- Direct messages
- Pictures and video in posts
- Editing or deleting posts
- Followers lists
Disconnect it in Jola
Open Connectors, pick X, and choose Delete. Jola takes back its sign-in where X allows it, and deletes the sign-in, every synced row and document, and the sync history. Seeds using it are shown first, and automations using it pause. Nothing in X itself is deleted.
Remove Jola from X
On X, open Settings, then Security and account access, then Apps and sessions, then Connected apps, and revoke Jola.
