Connect Threads to Jola
Your posts and the replies under them, plus post and reply.
Connect
Owners and admins: in Jola, open Connectors, pick Threads, and follow one of these.
Sign in with Threads
- Sign in to Threads with the account you want to bring in.
- Allow Jola to read your posts and replies, to post, and to reply and hide replies.
- Jola posts and replies as the account you sign in with.
- You can take Jola's access back any time in Threads, under Settings, Account, Website permissions.
What Jola brings in
You pick which of these on the connect screen.
- Threads posts: The account's own posts.
- Replies: What people write under the account's posts: who, what they said, and on which post.
What Jola can change
Only when someone asks, or through an automation an owner or admin turned on. Each change is logged.
- Post to Threads: Posts text, or a picture with text, to the Threads account. Up to 500 characters.
- Reply to a reply: Replies to a reply under one of the account's own posts. The reply shows under theirs.
- Hide a reply: Hides a reply under one of the account's own posts, and any replies under it. You can show it again in Threads.
What it can't do
- Likes, views and other numbers on posts (Threads insights, next)
- Videos and carousels (text and one picture for now)
- Replying to people on other accounts' posts
- Deleting posts
- Other people's posts, search and trends
- Showing a hidden reply again (do that in Threads)
Disconnect it in Jola
Open Connectors, pick Threads, and choose Delete. Jola takes back its sign-in where Threads allows it, and deletes the sign-in, every synced row and document, and the sync history. Seeds using it are shown first, and automations using it pause. Nothing in Threads itself is deleted.
Remove Jola from Threads
On Threads, open Settings, then Account, then Website permissions, and remove Jola. Threads tells Jola, and the connection and its data are deleted.
