Connect Stripe to Jola
Customers, payments, invoices and subscriptions.
Connect
Owners and admins: in Jola, open Connectors, pick Stripe, and follow one of these.
Paste a restricted key
- In Stripe open Developers, then API keys, then Create restricted key.
- Name it Jola and set Customers, Charges, Invoices and Subscriptions to Read.
- Create the key, copy it and paste it here.
- Use a restricted key (rk_live_...), never the secret key.
- Test-mode keys only see test data.
What Jola brings in
You pick which of these on the connect screen.
- Customers: Customers with email, name and balance.
- Payments: Card and bank payments with amount, status and refunds.
- Invoices: Invoices with totals, amounts paid and due, and status.
- Subscriptions: Subscriptions with status, plan and period dates.
What Jola can change
Nothing: Jola only reads Stripe.
What it can't do
- Payouts and balance transactions (not requested)
- Changing payments: Jola reads Stripe only
Disconnect it in Jola
Open Connectors, pick Stripe, and choose Delete. Jola takes back its sign-in where Stripe allows it, and deletes the sign-in, every synced row and document, and the sync history. Seeds using it are shown first, and automations using it pause. Nothing in Stripe itself is deleted.
Remove Jola from Stripe
In Stripe, open Developers, then API keys, and delete the restricted key you made for Jola.
To ask us to delete everything, see delete your data. For help, see support.
