Connect Meta Ads to Jola
Campaigns, daily spend and results, and leads from lead forms, plus pause and resume campaigns.
Connect
Owners and admins: in Jola, open Connectors, pick Meta Ads, and follow one of these.
Sign in with Facebook
- Sign in to Facebook with the account that has access to your ad account.
- Choose the ad accounts and Pages Jola can use and allow it to read your ads and leads and to pause and resume campaigns.
- Back in Jola, pick which ad account to bring in.
- You need a role on the ad account that lets you advertise, and a role on the Page for its leads.
- Leads are people's answers to a form and include personal details. They're brought in as the form asked for them, and only people with access to this connector can see them.
- One ad account per connection. To bring in another, connect Meta Ads again and pick it.
- You can take Jola's access back any time in Facebook, under Settings, Business integrations.
What Jola brings in
You pick which of these on the connect screen.
- Campaigns: The ad account's campaigns: status, objective and budget.
- Daily ad numbers: Spend, impressions, clicks and conversions for each campaign, one row a day.
- Leads: People who filled in a lead form on a Page: the form, the ad, when, and exactly the answers they gave.
What Jola can change
Only when someone asks, or through an automation an owner or admin turned on. Each change is logged.
- Pause a campaign: Pauses the campaign. Its ad sets and ads stop delivering and stop spending until it is resumed.
- Resume a campaign: Turns a paused campaign back on. Its active ad sets and ads start spending again, up to the budgets already set in Meta.
What it can't do
- Making or editing ads, ad sets, audiences or budgets (Jola only reads, pauses and resumes)
- Deleting or archiving campaigns
- Numbers by ad set, ad, age, country or placement (campaigns by day only)
- Leads from forms the signed-in person can't open on the Page
- Leads as they arrive (they come in at the next run)
- Ad accounts or Pages the signed-in person has no role on
Disconnect it in Jola
Open Connectors, pick Meta Ads, and choose Delete. Jola takes back its sign-in where Meta Ads allows it, and deletes the sign-in, every synced row and document, and the sync history. Seeds using it are shown first, and automations using it pause. Nothing in Meta Ads itself is deleted.
Remove Jola from Meta Ads
On Facebook, open Settings, then Business Integrations, and remove Jola. Facebook tells Jola, and the connection and its data are deleted.
