Connect LinkedIn to Jola

Your company Page's posts, comments and statistics, plus post and reply as the Page.

Connect

Owners and admins: in Jola, open Connectors, pick LinkedIn, and follow one of these.

Sign in with LinkedIn

1. Sign in to LinkedIn with the account that administers your company Page.
2. Allow Jola to read the Page's posts, comments and statistics, and to post and reply as the Page.
3. Pick the Page to bring in.

• You need to be an administrator of the Page.
• LinkedIn sign-ins last 60 days and Jola can't renew them in the background, so reconnect LinkedIn every 60 days.
• Jola keeps comments for 24 hours, posts for 6 months and statistics for a year. Those are LinkedIn's limits, and older rows are deleted automatically.
• Posts and replies go out as the Page, never as you.

What Jola brings in

You pick which of these on the connect screen.

• Page posts: The Page's own posts, with reactions and comment counts.
• Comments: What members wrote on the Page's latest posts: their name, what they said and when. LinkedIn limits how long these can be kept, so they stay 24 hours.
• Page statistics: Each day's impressions, clicks, reactions, comments, shares and Page views for the Page, for up to a year back.

What Jola can change

Only when someone asks, or through an automation an owner or admin turned on. Each change is logged.

• Post to the Page: Posts on the LinkedIn Page as the Page: text with an optional link.
• Reply to a comment: Replies to a comment on one of the Page's posts, as the Page.

What it can't do

• Posts or comments by people other than the Page
• Who reacted or who viewed (LinkedIn gives totals only)
• Comments older than 24 hours (LinkedIn's limit on member data)
• Anything about a commenter beyond their name
• Pictures, videos, polls and documents in new posts (text and a link only, for now)
• Editing or deleting posts
• Direct messages
• Ads (that is the LinkedIn Ads connector)
• Posting as a person

Disconnect it in Jola

Open Connectors, pick LinkedIn, and choose Delete. Jola takes back its sign-in where LinkedIn allows it, and deletes the sign-in, every synced row and document, and the sync history. Seeds using it are shown first, and automations using it pause. Nothing in LinkedIn itself is deleted.

Remove Jola from LinkedIn

On LinkedIn, open Settings, then Data privacy, then Permitted services, and remove Jola.
