Connect HubSpot to Jola
Contacts, companies and the deal pipeline.
Connect
Owners and admins: in Jola, open Connectors, pick HubSpot, and follow one of these.
Sign in with HubSpot
- Sign in to HubSpot and pick your account.
- Allow Jola to read contacts, companies and deals, and to move deals between stages.
Paste a service key
- In HubSpot open Settings, then Integrations, then Service Keys (formerly Private apps).
- Create a key named Jola.
- Under Scopes tick crm.objects.contacts.read, crm.objects.companies.read, crm.objects.deals.read and crm.schemas.*.read. To let Jola move deals, also tick crm.objects.deals.write.
- Create it, copy the access token and paste it here.
- Private apps moved under Service Keys in 2025.
- A token without the schema scopes connects but cannot list fields.
What Jola brings in
You pick which of these on the connect screen.
- Contacts: People in the CRM with lifecycle stage, owner and source.
- Companies: Businesses in the CRM.
- Deals: Deals with stage, amount, pipeline, owner and close date.
What Jola can change
Only when someone asks, or through an automation an owner or admin turned on. Each change is logged.
- Move a deal to another stage: Changes the deal's stage in HubSpot. Stages are read from your own pipelines.
What it can't do
- Email bodies and call recordings
- Marketing email performance (needs Marketing Hub scopes, not requested)
Disconnect it in Jola
Open Connectors, pick HubSpot, and choose Delete. Jola takes back its sign-in where HubSpot allows it, and deletes the sign-in, every synced row and document, and the sync history. Seeds using it are shown first, and automations using it pause. Nothing in HubSpot itself is deleted.
Remove Jola from HubSpot
In HubSpot, open Settings, then Integrations, then Connected Apps, and uninstall Jola. A Super Admin can do this.
