Connect Google Ads to Jola

Campaigns with daily cost, clicks and conversions, plus pause or turn on a campaign.

Connect

Owners and admins: in Jola, open Connectors, pick Google Ads, and follow one of these.

Sign in with Google

1. Sign in with the Google account that can open your Google Ads account.
2. Allow Jola to see your campaigns and results, and to pause or turn on campaigns when you ask it to.
3. Pick the ad account to bring in.

• You don't need a manager account. If you run client accounts through one, they show up in the list too, named with the manager they sit under.
• Until Google verifies Jola, only accounts added as test users can sign in, and Google shows an "unverified app" screen first: choose Advanced, then continue.
• Google limits how many requests Jola's Google project can make until it has more approval. Jola reads a few at a time, so a normal account stays well inside it.
• Costs are in the ad account's own currency. Jola never converts them.

What Jola brings in

You pick which of these on the connect screen.

• Campaigns: Each campaign with its status, type, daily budget and dates.
• Campaigns by day: Cost, impressions, clicks and conversions for each campaign on each day.

What Jola can change

Only when someone asks, or through an automation an owner or admin turned on. Each change is logged.

• Pause a campaign: Pauses one campaign. Its ads stop showing and stop spending right away; you can turn it back on later.
• Turn on a campaign: Turns a paused campaign back on. Its ads start showing again and spending its daily budget.

What it can't do

• Create campaigns, or change budgets, bids, ads, keywords or targeting (Jola can pause and turn on campaigns only)
• Results by ad group, ad, keyword or search term (campaigns only for now)
• Billing, payments or invoices
• Cost in a currency other than the ad account's own
• More than one ad account at a time (a connection holds one ad account)
• Settings of removed campaigns (their past daily numbers stay)

Disconnect it in Jola

Open Connectors, pick Google Ads, and choose Delete. Jola takes back its sign-in where Google Ads allows it, and deletes the sign-in, every synced row and document, and the sync history. Seeds using it are shown first, and automations using it pause. Nothing in Google Ads itself is deleted.

Remove Jola from Google Ads

Open your Google Account's security settings, and remove Jola under third-party access.
