Connect Canva to Jola
Designs, brand templates and folders, plus make and export designs.
Connect
Owners and admins: in Jola, open Connectors, pick Canva, and follow one of these.
Sign in with Canva
- Sign in to Canva and pick the team to connect.
- Allow Jola to see your designs, folders and brand templates, and to create and export designs.
- Brand templates and autofill need Canva Pro, Teams or Enterprise. On other plans that part comes back empty.
- Blank designs Jola creates are deleted by Canva if nobody edits them within 7 days.
What Jola brings in
You pick which of these on the connect screen.
- Designs: Every design you own or that's shared with you: title, type, pages, owner and links.
- Brand templates: Your team's brand templates, each with the data fields autofill can fill.
- Folders: The folders in your projects, with the folder each sits in.
What Jola can change
Only when someone asks, or through an automation an owner or admin turned on. Each change is logged.
- Create a design: Starts a new blank design in Canva and gives you the edit link.
- Fill a brand template: Makes a new design from a brand template with your text in its data fields.
- Export a design: Exports a design and gives you download links, valid for 24 hours.
What it can't do
- Image and chart fields in autofill (they need uploaded assets)
- Editing what's inside an existing design
- Comments and design contents as text
- Thumbnails that last
Disconnect it in Jola
Open Connectors, pick Canva, and choose Delete. Jola takes back its sign-in where Canva allows it, and deletes the sign-in, every synced row and document, and the sync history. Seeds using it are shown first, and automations using it pause. Nothing in Canva itself is deleted.
Remove Jola from Canva
In Canva, open your account's settings, then Integrations, and disconnect Jola.
